Joan Akiko Yabusaki Kurashige
87, of Honolulu, a retired teacher for the Hawaii School for the Deaf and Blind, passed away on November 2, 2017 at Kuakini Geriatric Care. She was born in Pahala, Hawaii. She is survived by her husband, Irwin; sons Brett (Melvina) and Greg (Ada); daughter, Traci (Lyman) Yokoo; brother, Derick Yabusaki; and by four grandchildren.
