Born in Wahiawa, he is survived by his mother, Mildred Miyoko Sodetani, his sisters Wendy Naomi Sodetani and Norma Etsuyo McDiarmid, nephew Lance Tamanaka, niece Summer Foster, grand-niece Caia, and his beloved canine companion, Tuffy Too ("TT"). George is known by many as the owner of Tuffy, Hawaii's oldest dog at 24 years when he passed. Funeral Service at Haleiwa Jodo Mission, November 25, 11am.
