ALFRED “AL” REMIGIO
ALFRED AL REMIGIO 74, of Mililani, passed away on November 14, 2017. Born in Waimea, Kaua'i to Felix Remigio and Anacleta (Annie) Francisco on Dec. 1, 1942, he graduated from Waimea High School in 1961. Sergeant First Class Remigio retired from the US Army in 1981 after 20-years, serving as an infantryman in Vietnam from 1967-1968 with A/D Companies, 1-14th Infantry, 25th Inf. Div. Later, Al became a US Postal Service letter carrier, retiring after 21-years in 2006. Al is survived by his faithful wife of 52 years, Judy Kim; his four sons: Willie (Diana from GA), Marlin (Rose from TX); Kelvin from NV, and Daniel; his loving sister, Elena (Ron Engelsman from AZ), brothers Andres Remigio (Lorraine), and Pedro Tagatac from Kaua'i; his Aunt Olivia Gubaton from Kaua'i; and his devoted Cousins, Erlinda Francisco (Jim Hazelrigg from CA), Reubin Francisco (Cynthia), and Randall Francisco from Kaua'i; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018: Visitation 9:30 a.m., Service 10:30 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park (Makai); Burial Service at 1 p.m. at Schofield Post Cemetery. No flowers. Aloha attire.
