Linda Kay DeanLinda Kay Dean, age 69, of Ewa Beach passed away at home on November 28, 2017. She was born October 5, 1948 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Robert and Ellen Billings. She has one older brother, Thomas Billings. She was a 1967 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. Linda has lived all over the world- including in Germany and England before making Hawaii home. With her creativity, organizational skills and her ability to connect with people and children-Linda has been the director of Youth and Activity Centers for the Air Force and the Navy- both in the U.S. and abroad. Linda was also a dedicated Foster and Emergency Shelter parent for 20 Years and helped to care for and give homes to over 500 children. Her interests and hobbies included Genealogy, all things related to Ireland, Scotland & England, Crossword & Intellectual puzzles, mysteries, crafting, reading and creative writing. Linda was known for her kind heart, witty sense of humor, entertaining life stories, gift of gab, and her perceptive, empathetic nature. This beloved Mother, proud Grandma and Best Friend will be greatly missed. She is survived by her 7 Children: Danielle Dean, Jordan Dean, Anthony Dean, Bailey Dean, Heather (Dean) Sena, Kenna (Dean) Roles, and Todd Billings Along with her 8 Grandchildren: Aliyah Shodai-Dean, Kara, Andrew & Alex Roles, Jacob & Kailani Sena, and Jada & Tanesha Billings.
