89, the daughter of the late Matsu and Kana Miyahira of Kapaa, Kauai died in Aiea, Oahu on November 2, 2017. She was born on September 16, 1928 in Kapaa, Kauai. She was the fifth child of a family of ten children. She attended Kapaa Elementary and High School. She was a student of the first Kapaa High School graduating class; and was the Editor of Kapaa high School's first Annual (1946 Year Book). She briefly attended the University of Hawaii right after high school and subsequently worked at various banks and department stores in Honolulu and on Kauai. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Toshio, Kenneth, Nelson, Harry, Samuel, and Paul, sisters; Dora Tengan and Elizabeth Chang. She is survived by her brother, Richard of Camarillo, California. A graveside memorial service is planned for Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM, Family Grave, Kapaa-Kealia Cemetery, Hauaala Road. Interment to follow.
