67, earned his angel wings on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Ala Moana Beach Park doing what he loved most - surfing. Hans was born on March 27, 1950 in Honolulu, Hawaii to George and Kay Sasaki. After graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1968 he went on to Berkley University where he earned his bachelors degree in 1972. Hans returned to Hawaii to work for an architectural firm (Group 70). Eventually Hans decided to study gemology at GIA and go into the family business, George Sasaki Jewelers Inc. He continued the family tradition of serving generations of families and in the process mentored his daughter, Aja, in the business. Hans believed in living life to the fullest and loved food, drink, cycling, yoga, karate and most of all - surfing. His ideal day started with The Courts Dawn Patrol Ohana to catch the first waves of the day before heading to work. Hans will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Margie, daughters Ashley and Aja, sister Lois and many cousins. The family invites friends and family of Hans to join in celebrating his life on Monday, December 18 from 4pm-6pm at the Pacific Club 1451 Queen Emma Street Honolulu, Hi 96813
