Janice “Ahoy” Ching Young
Mom peacefully slipped away on Sunday morning, November 26, 2017 to reunite with dad, who she's been missing since he passed away 2 years ago. Now, her "3 S's", Sharon, Sanford and Suzanne, too will miss her. Jana, Matt, Elizabeth and Jaynel will carry on Nana's wit, humor and unconditional love, as she showed them and pass that down to Ella, Harper and Ka'ilihau, who sadly bid their great-nana aloha and a hui hou. Her nieces, nephew and cousin also survive mom. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Tom, brother, Hong Chock Ching and sister, Elizabeth Makalena. In lieu of gifts, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii, 1314 S. King Street, Suite 1555, Honolulu 96814. (Please include in memory of Janice Young).
