Viola Imai, 89, of Kailua, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2017. She was a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a master degree in library science and employed by the DOE at Keolu Elementary School for over 35 years. She was a devout Christian and a member at Kailua Christian Church. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harry; son, Randal (Cindy); grandsons, Matthew and Luke; sister, Martha Yasue; brother, David Komori (Miko) and numerous nieces and nephews. Private services will be held.
