80, of Kailua, Oahu, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 in Kamuela, Hawaii. Born on October 20, 1937 to Dora Akana, also raised by his Grandmother Marie Elizabeth Estrella. Tony worked as a legal process server and served his Country in the Navy. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline Shannon; daughters, Tammy (Rex) Kamakana; Cathy (Dru) Miyata; Jody (Greg) Awana; son, Michael "Akoni" (Ann) Shannon; ten grandchildren; a great-grandchild; sisters, Patricia "Pat" Seger, Cynthia Spencer, Marleen Rodrigues-Quiroz, Deborah Y'au, brothers, James "Sparky" Rodrigues, Robert Allan Rodrigues, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was known as "Pappy" to his grandchildren.
