Charles "Sonny" Fernandez Born in Honolulu on September 13 1939 to the late Charles and Dorothy Fernandez Died peacefully in his sleep Christmas Day. A Graduate of Saint Louis Class of 1957, He retired from Pearl Harbor Shop 26 after 30 years then went on to work at Quest Diagnostics for 23 years. He's was an avid and excellent golfer still shooting in the 70's until he could no longer play. He is survived by sons Mets pitcher Sid Fernandez and Roger Fernandez, Brother Wayne and Sheila Fernandez. He was a loving grandfather to 6 grandchildren, Tyler, Sydney, Secia, Dominique, Sean and Canaan. Come celebrate his life with us at the Kailua beach boat ramp Sunday January 14 at 10:00.
