Corwith “Corie” Joseph Roache98, of Honolulu, died December 23rd at Kahala Nui. Born in San Francisco, California in 1919, he moved to Hawaii with his parents in 1929. Corie was a retired officer of the Hawaiian Trust Company. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Roache was an avid golfer since 1941 and had a lifetime total of 5 holes-in-one. Survived by granddaughters Corrine J. Roache of Los Angeles and Shellye A. Roache of Chicago. Private service and Inurnment will be held at a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Donations in his memory may be made to the Hawaiian Humane Society, 2700 Waialae Ave, Honolulu, HI 96826-1899 or to a charity of your choice.
