Rebecca P. Kim, 100, of Honolulu passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 29, 2017. Becky, as she was known to friends and relatives, was a graduate of McKinley High School. A long time resident of Kaimuki, she worked for many years as a library assistant at the Kaimuki Library. Becky's two favorite pastimes were gardening and trying to win the California Super Lotto (even though her chances of winning the jackpot were a million to one). Undaunted, she dreamed of one day hitting it big and making everyone in the family rich! Becky is survived by her sons, Calvin and Dukee Kim; her daughter, Mona Erol; eight grand- children; and eight great-grand- children. Kind and generous, Becky strived all her life to see the good in people. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Private services have been held and Becky's ashes were scattered at sea.
