A retired employee of Kahuku Hospital for 45 years, passed away at the age of 89 in Kahuku on January 5, 2018. Born on October 29, 1928 in Kahuku, she is preceded in life by her husband, Julian Rillamas, parents, Paul Santiago Sr. and Angelina Julia Sanchez. Her son, John A. Rillamas, Sr. and her stepson, Colton V. Rillamas and hanai son, Silman Rillamas. She is survived by her sons: Edwin Rillamas and Michael Rillamas. Stepsons: Julian Rillamas Jr. & Keawe Rillamas. Daughters, Julie (Manuel) Quiroz-Zamora, Melinda (Vaughn) Plemer, and Rita May (Pane) Meatoga Jr. Sister, Beatrice (Thomas) Pickard. 34 grandchildren, 28 great-grand- children and 4 great-great-grand- children. She was a licensed Nurse Assistant, and Records Clerk at Kahuku Hosptal, and a Clinic Nurse Assistant for Dr. Guy Heder at St. Roch's parish in Kahuku, she served as a Catechist, Sacristan, Church Secretary and member of the Eucharistic & Bereavement Ministries. She was named a "Treasure" of St. Roch's Parish. Visitation and Mass service will be held at St. Roch's in Kahuku on January 27th at 10:00 AM, Mass at 11:45 AM, and burial at Hawaiian Memorial Park at 3:00 PM.
