Chiyoko (Toyama) Mew, of Kailua, HI passed away peacefully on January 5, 2018 at the age of 91. Chiyo was born in Wainaku, Hawaii. Chiyo will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sandy (Bill) Mew-McRoberts and Stephanie Mew; siblings, Toyoko Miyashiro, Happy and Shiro Toyama; and grandchildren, Melissa (Tommy) Moncata and Billy McRoberts. She is predeceased by husband, Frank Mew; and siblings, Tommy and Kiyoshi Toyama and Mitzi Okuma. At Chiyo's request, a private family burial service will be held.
