Dora Yoshiko Yamada, 84, of Waipahu a retired Zippy's trainer, passed away at home on December 27, 2017. Dora was preceded in death by husband Daniel and son, Kenneth (Denise) Yamada. She is survived by daughter Linda (Miles), brother Harold (Allison) Kaneshiro, sisters Doris Kaneshiro and Elise (George) Oyama, granddaughter Danielle, grandson Darren, and her golden companions Willy and Shibi. Our family would like to say thank you to those who were a part of Dora's life: Friends and family, special friends Mrs. Real, Patti, Jessica, Paulo; Waikele McDonalds morning staff, Waipahu Times, Kuni's Restaurant owners and staff, Wayne and staff at Waipahu Shell, Doctor Amy Ogawa and staff, and Waipahu Don Quijote. She always talked about how kind and courteous you all were to her, you really made her feel special. Funeral service is on Saturday February 17, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary.
