Richert Meinert Kamaiopili
76, died peacefully at his home in Waimanalo. Preceded in death by son, Randolph K. Kamaiopili; wife, Julia P. Kamaiopili; and grandson, Jeffrey K. Carvalho. He is survived by brother Maxwell O. Kamaiopili, sisters, Maxine Chang and Lani (Joe) Quesada of Vallejo. Sons, Richert S. (Lynne) of Stockton, and Sean Kamaiopili. Daughters, Rayan Carvalho, Ramona (Peter) Sarsona of Kapaa, Desiree (Jack) Kamaiopili-Hansen of Hilo and Keani (David) Aulii. He has 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. He was a retired sergeant of the Honolulu Police Department and a St. Louis High School alumnus from the Class of 1959. CELEBRATION OF LIFE February 15, 2018 St. George's Church in Waimanalo 10 a.m. Visitation 11 a.m. Prayer service 12 p.m. Refreshments 2 p.m. Canoes out to scatter ashes at Kaiona Beach Park.
