Barbara Luke Tom, 92, of Honolulu, passed away January 5, 2018 peacefully at home. She was born in Hawi, Hawai'i on February 10, 1925. Barbara was an orchid enthusiast. She was an avid collector and lovingly cared for her plants, as if they were her children. She is survived by children, Edwina (Osamu) Fukuyama, Karen, Lowell, Laurie Tom and four grandchildren. Celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, February 22 at Diamond Head Mortuary; visitation at 8:30 a.m., service at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow.
