Age 90, of Wahiawa, HI, passed away on December 31, 2017. Born November 11, 1927 in Punene, Maui. She retired from the DOE as a Cook at Kaala Elementary School. A member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. She now rests peacefully with her beloved husband John O. Navares, Sr. and survived by sons, Gerald (deceased); John O (Mapuana); Felix S (Anita); Alfred B (Hinano); Phillip Andrew; Michael P (Melissa Santos); daughter Jaqueline (Kenny) Ching. Surviving brother Alberto Adaro Sr. and surviving sister Juliana Julie (Glen) Riddle; 15 grand- children; 33 great-grand- children; 3 great- great-grand- children. Visitation on February 23, 2018 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Wahiawa. Funeral service is at 11am and burial to follow at 12:30pm at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
