95, of Waialua passed away peacefully on December 29, 2017. She was born in Wailuku, Maui on March 31, 1922, and was an active member of the Waialua Hongwanji Mission and the Central Oahu Kumamoto Kenjin Kai. She was preceded in death by husband Tadashi Matsumoto and daughter Yvonne Fong. She is survived by son, Clyde (Annette) Matsumoto, daughters Allison Matsumoto and Lois (Kevin) Kiyonaga, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sisters Jeanette Kawakami, Mildred Sakamoto, and Lilian (Dr. James) Matayoshi. Private services were held. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests a donation to your favorite charity or the Waialua Hongwanji.
