James "Sondo" Kim, 69, of Aiea, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on February 6, 2018. He was born on January 15, 1949 in Honolulu. He recently retired from the Department of Health as a social worker where he worked for fifteen years. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, son Ryan Christopher, sister, Cynthia Hiroshima, brothers, Raymond and Craig; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Patrick's Church on March 3, 2018, in Kaimuki. Visitation at 9:00am; services and Mass at 10:00am. Inurnment at 12:30pm at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
