DIANE MARIE (SILVA) PANG
67, passed away on December 27, 2017 in Abilene, Texas. A 1968 graduate of St. Ann's School in Kaneohe, and a graduate of Patricia Stevens Fashion Design and Modeling in Honolulu. Diane was an aspiring fashion designer with a talent for sewing and crafting. However, it was her boundless love of children that led to her nurturing and caring for countless keiki, dba Diane's Infant Care, and the resultant "Aunty Diane" moniker. While challenged with poor health, she amazed everyone with her constant smile, gentle disposition and love and devotion to family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her husband of 47 years, Anson Pang of Abilene, Texas, and 3 daughters, Amber Pang Parra of San Antonio, Texas, Amanda Pang-Sheldon of Mission, Texas, and Alaura (Pang) Matthews of Hickory, North Carolina. In addition, she will always be "Ah Goo" to her 14 grandchildren. Diane is survived by her mother, Betty Yvonne Martin, and sisters, Francine Vegas and Kathleen Chan, and Godmother, Betty Teves, all of Oahu. A Celebration of Life will be held in her memory on March 17, 2018 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m., and luncheon at 11:00 a.m. Aloha attire. Family requests no flowers.
