Age 80, passed away in Kaneohe on February 6, 2018. He was born in Honolulu and raised in Kailua. He retired from PHNSY Sheet Metal Shop and was the owner of "Haiku Ukes". Pete graduated with the 1st graduating class of Kailua High School in 1957, and was a member of The Silver Seniors Club of Kailua. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He is predeceased by daughter, Dr. Uilani Bermudez. He is survived by his wife, Winona; son, Peter C.K. (Jennie); brothers, Eugene, Raymond, Richard, Robert and Jackie; sister, Juanita Hammeren; grand- niece, Caylee Tuzon, many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on March 16, 2018 at St. Ann Church in Kaneohe. Visitation 11:00 a.m. and Mass at 12:45 p.m. Committal service and burial at 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
