FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

EDGAR KUULEI NAKOA SR.
EDGAR KUULEI NAKOA SR.84, of Nanakuli, Hawaii passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in Queens Medical Center, Honolulu on February 22, 2018. He was born in Honolulu, a U.S Army Veteran. He retired as a Operator Foreman for Hi-Way Transportation, and Contracting Co., a truck driver, and heavy equipment operator of over 40 years experience, and a member of the Operating Engineer Local Union #3. He was a quiet, humble man who lived his life to the fullest, and loving God unconditionally. On February 22, Dad sealed his love for my mom of 60 years, Kathryn "Aunty Kay" Nakoa, when God called him home. Survived by his loving wife; Kathryn, Sons; Edgar Jr., Derek Sr. (Doreen), Andrew Sr. (Bernice), Mark Sr., Gabriel "Gabe", James "Kimo", Daughter; Lori Lynn, and Hana'i daughter; Dera, 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grand- children. Brother; Theodore "Buddy" Nakoa, Sisters; Virginia "Ipo" Kahiamoe, Faith (Tony) Distajo, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Service to celebrate his life will be held at; Mililani Mortuary- Downtown Honolulu, on Monday April 2, 2018. Visitation; 9:00am, Burial at 1:00pm at Hawaii State Veteran Cemetery in Kaneohe. Aloha Attire. Arrangement provided by; Mililani Mortuary-Downtown Honolulu.
