Eugene is survived by his wife, Elaine (Asam); sons, Eugene Jr., Elroy (preceded); daughters, Ella, Lani, Ewa, Mel, Elise; brothers, Manuel and Ernest Halican; 23 grandchildren; and 23 great- grandchildren.
