Passed away March 15, 2018 (age 93). Born in Honolulu, 1924. Graduated from UH, Temple Medical School (1953), general surgery residency in Indianapolis and in thoracic surgery in Louisville, KY. Married Marilyn Jean Wirth (predeceased) in 1959. Practiced medicine in Honolulu as a surgeon from 1959-89. Dr. Mori was the third generation of a family of physicians in Hawaii, preceded by father Dr. Motokazu Mori and grandfather Dr. Iga Mori. In addition to his medical practice, he was an avid golfer and computer enthusiast, and after retirement pursued his passion for travel and exploring the world with a camera. More recently he enjoyed life at Arcadia retirement residence, swimming and exploring family history. He was a kind, caring and generous man and wonderful father. He is survived by son Michael of San Diego, daughter Karin (Mori) of Brighton, England; grandsons Victor (MD), Vincent and Kainoa Mori; sister Margaret Hirozawa of Novi, Michigan, and brother Ramsay of Kaneohe. He is predeceased by brother Arthur, sister Pearl and son Russell.
