LORRAINE YOKE LUN CUP CHOY KOSKEY
LORRAINE YOKE LUN CUP CHOY KOSKEYLorraine Yoke Lun Cup Choy Koskey (84), born in Paia, Maui in the Territory of Hawaii on February 5, 1934, passed away on March 13th in Miami, Florida where she is survived by her husband, Raymond Francis, for 61 years. Her life is celebrated by her five children, Sharon Louise Cintas, Raymond Stephen (Linda), Michael Francis, Brenda Lee Johnston (Jim) and David Anthony. The youngest daughter of eleven children to Ah Ping Cup Choy and Ah Sun Cheong, Lorraine leaves behind five siblings, Elsie Allen, Harold (Fumiko), Mildred DeMello, Thomas and Robert (Eva). Her five grandchildren William, Michael, Nicholas, Stephen and Krystle will miss her generosity, humor, a set of ears to listen with and her love. Her two great grandchildren, William and Sara will miss out on her chance to spoil them even more. Lorraine treasured the time she spent with her many nieces and nephews, offering them guidance and boundless support. She enjoyed being with her family, her ohana, but cherished her quiet time with her puzzles and books. She also liked to share her varied cooking talents; she bestowed many recipes upon strangers in the vegetable and meat aisles of the local grocery stores and markets. She served in the Army from 1952 1956 and will receive her Military Honors at the Makawao Veterans Cemetery, Maui, Hawaii, on Friday, April 27 at 1 PM. Her brother Robert will provide her eulogy and her niece Andrea DeMello Stevers will share her ukulele playing of Kanaka Waiwai. Lorraine was a warrior with unconditional love, a mentor, a mother, a sister and friend and will be missed very much as she is returned to her home, the Royal Hawaiian Island of Maui, No Ka Oe.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
