He was born in Honolulu and graduated from Saint Louis College in 1949. He is survived by his wife, Molly; daughters, Wanda (Barry) Kugiya, Colleen (Craig Ogata) Takabayashi and Carie Takabayashi; son, Wayne (Beverly); sisters, Leatrice Kato and Dorothy Sasada; brothers, Kenneth (Doris) and Roy (Arlyn); and by five grandchildren.
