Passed away in her sleep April 8, 2018 in Milwaukee, WI, at the age of 61. She is survived by her loving husband Robert, sisters Jean (Scott) Ihenfeld and Jerri (Robert) Greenberg, children Aaron Dan, Kenneth Rupnow and Hana Rupnow, grandchildren Quinnley and Relic Dan, and mother-in-law Irene (Jim) Boschuetz. Josie was born in Minot, North Dakota Feb 2, 1957 to James and Janet Leach. She was baptized into the Christain faith and lived with a passion for her Lord. Josie followed a path of service as she helped many through her 20 years as a nurse throughout Hawaii. Josie was an adventuress sailor and Captain in her own right, not afraid to live life to its fullest. Josie loved the Lord and gave praises daily to his glory and was an active member at St Mark where her loving nature is already missed by all she touched. Josie embodied a joy for life, adventure, love, and compassion, who conveyed wonder and joy to all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Sevices will be held at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 45-725 Kamehameha Highway, April 29, with a time of food and fellowship beginning ay 3 pm and celebration of her life a 4 pm.
