Robert Harold Johnson, 89, born in New York, moved to Hawaii in the early 1960's where he was a teacher at Kailua High School for over 25 years. He loved the ocean. He was a lifeguard and surfer in his early years and loved sailing in his later years. He was also a long time member of the Hawaii Yacht Club. He is predeceased by his wife Ann (Boerum) Johnson and son Clifford Johnson. He is survived by daughter Tobi Ranyard of Mililani; grandson, Chris Johnson of Kaneohe, granddaughter, Kathryn (Johnson) Trigleth of Maryland and 2 great-granddaughters.
