Alfred De Rego Jr. was born on May 02, 1931 in Haina, Hawaii (Big Island). He was born to Frederick (Alfred) De Rego and Mary Rodrigues. He ascended into Heaven on Saturday, April 07, 2018. He was a wonderful father to his daughters Noreen De Rego, Belinda (Candy) De Rego and Robin De Rego. His 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren were blessed to have an amazing Papa. Alfred was known to many. He was a pillar at the 6:00 pm mass on Saturdays at St Ann's Church. He loved to clean the statue outside of the church and always fixed the Blessed Mother's broken finger. He constantly taught his children lessons and was willing to help build anything and everything his children needed to succeed in school. Alfred left a legacy like no other. He was a loving husband who showered Diana with fresh flowers weekly. Up until the very end of his life he was teaching his daughters lessons. His family shared amazing and special moments with him in his journey that we hold dear to our hearts. He made sure his family was prepared and ready for him to go home to Jesus. He fought an amazing fight for life.
