Pearl Keakamaihiwa Keawe Souza
Pearl Keakamaihiwa Keawe Souza of Honolulu and Molokai, passed away on April 8, 2018 at her home on Molokai. She was a Hula Nani, former member of the Royal Hawaiian Entertainment Group, and Kumu Hula of Pearl Keawe's Valley Hula Studio. She was born on December 25, 1934 in Honolulu to John and Pearl Keawe. She is survived by her husband Joseph, brothers Mitchell W. Keawe, and John K. Keawe, sister Patricia Au, sons Joseph (Anne), John (Wai), and Douglas Souza. Daughters Thalia Ann Souza, and Rhonda (Charlie) Apana. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews. Visitation 9am, service at 10am Friday, May 11, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Lunch to follow service. Burial at 1pm. Aloha attire. Arrangements Provided By: Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary
