84, of Honolulu passed away on April 1, 2018 in Honolulu. He was originally from Anahola, Kauai and was a retired Roosevelt High School Spanish teacher. He is survived by wife, Ruth; son Kirk (Wendy); daughter Dawn Hirano (Vinson); grandchildren, Trent, Tyler, Sydnie and Jordyn; and sisters, Barbara Sawai and Florence Suzui.
