La-Venda Josephine Isaacs Pulawa SaberonBorn on April 7, 1941 to Victoria Isaacs and Benjamin Pulawa, 77 years young of Kaneohe & Ewa Beach passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 22, 2018 at the Queen's Medical Center. La-Venda is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Ata Saberon; children: Arcadio Kalani (Elizabeth) Saberon, Ana Lehua (Clark) Abbey, Abigail Saberon Brilhante, Ata (Diana) Saberon, Jr.; grandchildren: Daniel, Nohelani, Amanda, Aaron, Alana, Isaiah, Andreya, Alika and great-grand child Alohi. Brothers: Wilford "Nappy" (Evelyn), Lawrence "Larry" and Herbert Pulawa; Sisters: Marian Fifitanuia, Joyce Sang, Maydell Osterloh, Roberta Palakiko (John) Westbrooks, many cousins, nieces and nephews. After retiring from 33 years of dedicated service as a State employee at WCC, La-Venda and Ata pursued their passion in playing golf, ballroom dancing, bowling and heading to Vegas for a chance to hit the "Mega Bucks"! La-Venda was a devout member of the LDS Honouliuli Ward and served in the Family History Center assisting those searching for genealogy information. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Funeral Services: 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, 91-1154 North Rd, Ewa Beach, Hawaii. 96706, Burial: 2:00 p.m. at Greenhaven Memorial Park, 47-147 Waikalua Rd, Kaneohe, HI 96744.
