ROSINA WAI BUSH
ROSINA WAI BUSH ROSINA WAI BUSH Rosina Kapulani Wai Bush, affectionately called "Sister," passed away March 9, 2018, at the age of 93. She was born April 27, 1924, in Honolulu to Kim Wai and Rosina Lambert Wai, and was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. Rosina was a homemaker, court clerk, caregiver, shop manager, legendary cook and accomplished ukulele player, honing her musical skills under the guidance of lifetime friend, the late Kahauanu Lake. She cherished time with her family and friends, especially if Hawaiian music and food were involved. Rosina was preceded in death by three brothers (Francis Wai, Conkling Wai, and Robert Wai) and her beloved infant daughter, Rosina "Baby" Bush. She is survived by sons, Theodore K. Bush, Jr. (Holly) and Francis K. Bush, brother Lambert K. Wai, five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Lodge 616 on Friday, June 1, 5-7pm. Private burial.
