96, a World War II Army veteran with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, an optometrist and founder of Ho'opono Low Vision Clinic, passed away on May 8, 2018 at Kahala Nui. He was born in Makawao, Maui. He is survived by sons, Keith (Grace) and Lance (Irene); daughter, Suzanne (Harvey Henderson Jr.) Terada; sister, Hilda Takeyama; and by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
