FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Violet “Fatty” Acedillo Lee
Violet 89 of Honolulu passed away peacefully at her residence at Na Lei Hulu Kupuna Senior Condominium April 19, 2018. She was born and raised in Niuli'i, North Kohala Hawaii. She lived in Kapa'au, North Kohala and Honolulu. She enjoyed both country life as well as the city life. She worked as a Custodian at the Honolulu International Airport, Maintenance Manager at Marco Polo Condo, and Housekeeping at Hilton Waikoloa Hotel. She was active within the community: President, Kohala Civic Club, President, Kohala Visayan Club, President, VFW Woman's League - Honolulu, strong believer of Hawaiian culture and arts. A contributing writer for Kohala Mountain News as well as the West Hawaii Today Newspaper. She will be missed for her charm and charisma. Violet is survived by her children: daughters - Carrie "Lani" Acedillo Wong, Adelina "Maile" Baijo Pale, and Margery Macadangdang. Sons: predeceased- Clarence (Sandra) Baijo, and Anthony "Tony" (LuAnne) Macadangdang. Surviving Brother: Walter Rickard Jr. 17 Grandchildren, 30 Great-Grand- children and 1 Great-Great-Grand- child. Many nieces, nephews and "hanai" children. Celebration of Life: Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Ballard Family Moanalua Mortuary, Visitation at 5:00 p.m., Services at 6:00 p.m. No flowers please, Aloha (Blue) Attire.
