Richard Cosmer Waldron
RICHARD COSMER WALDRON 87, beloved husband and father and long time Port Angeles resident, passed away on May 17, 2018, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dick is survived by his wife, Nelda Neuffer, children: Carol Christina Geiger, Kathryn Laura Chambers (Paul), Maggie Villa (Olivier), Carlton Richard Waldron (Carol), step-children: George Alfred Neuffer, Gregg Lawrence Neuffer, Nancy Carol Neuffer, and Gerald Christopher Neuffer, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dick was born on June 19, 1930, in Washington, D.C., and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in engineering. He retired from Boeing in 1995 and moved to Port Angeles where he enjoyed golfing, caring for his home, and making new friends. After their marriage in 2005, Dick and Nelda split their time between Honolulu and Port Angeles. Dick passed away after a long and valiant struggle against kidney disease. A private memorial service was held in Honolulu. The family encourages those who wish to commemorate him to make a donation in his name to the National Kidney Foundation, Hawaii.
