ERICH LUCIEN NEEDS, SR. 71, of Waimanalo, passed away May 24, 2018. Born January 11, 1947 in Paris, France, he was a retired shipwright at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Erich is predeceased by his son Earl Needs. He is survived by wife, Gloria (Kukahiwa); sons, Erich, Jr. and Kea; daughters, Lauae and Erika; grandchildren, Kekoa and Brandy, the Kalilikane Ohana; great-grand- children, Kahe, R.J., Anuhea, Hi`iwai, Kaisyn. Services will be held on June 20, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m. with service at 6:30 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday June 24, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at 41-936 Kalanianole Hwy., Waimanalo, HI 96795.
