71, of Riverside, CA, peacefully passed away on May 18, 2018, at VA Loma Linda Hospital in Southern California. Prior to residing in CA, he was also a long time resident of Ewa Beach, HI and Las Vegas, NV. Andy is survived by his son Andres "Andy" Quartero IV, daughters Shawna (Kevin) Huddy, Cyd (Raymond) Acosta, Charlyn Ualani Quartero, brother, Lancelot (Evelyn) Quartero, sisters Leilani (Kimo) Werner, Alona Quartero, Leona (Fred) Hernandez, Mapuana (Francis) Leiwalo, sister-in-law Danielle Quartero and 7 grand- children. Andy was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, nephew, son, brother and friend to all. Memorial services for Andy will be held on Thursday, July 5 at Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary, East Chapel, Visitation to begin at 5:00 pm; service 6:00pm. Burial on Friday, July 6, at 10:00 am at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual/aloha attire. There will be another memorial service for Andy at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary in Colton, CA, on Monday, July 9th, visitation at 10am.
