96, of Honolulu passed away on April 25, 2018 in Waipahu, Hawaii. He retired as a machinist from the Chevron refinery and traveled the world taking photographs, enjoyed ballroom dancing and music in his retirement. A graduate of Farrington High School, he served in Japan with the U.S. Army after World War II as an interpreter. He was predeceased by his wife, Itsuye and is survived by daughters, Cynthia (Brooks) Takenaka, Faye (Dale) Mau, Ann Cole (the late Nelson Cole) and son, Clyde; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The family is grateful for the outstanding care provided by Luz & Leo Godoy. A private service and burial at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe were held.
