Preceded in death by brother, Milton Uehara and sister, Carol Kato, she is survived by her husband, Herbert; daughter, Jeri (Chester) Ritchie; son, Douglas Kaku; granddaughters, Brooke and Jenna Ritchie; sisters, Aileen Kuboyama, Thelma Okino and Stella Uehara; brother, Grant Uehara; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
