Founder of Roy M. Matsuda CPA, Inc., in Honolulu, Hawaii, died on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the age of 76. A graduate of Waipahu High, he earned his BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1963 and 1977, respectively. In 1967, he passed the Uniform CPA Examination and was awarded Hawaii's 377th CPA license. Prior to starting his firm, he worked at local and national accounting firms and at Amfac, Inc. Roy is survived by his wife, Betty; sons Kevin (Sakiko) and David; sisters Joy Matsuda and Charlotte (Richard) Kuriyama; brother Melvin (Maureen) Matsuda; and one grandson. Private services held.
