77, of Pearl City passed away peacefully on July 28, 2018 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 16, 1940 in Puunene, Maui; the eldest son of Takeshi and Hanayo Yamashita. He was retired from Aloha Airlines after 40 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Vicki (Greg) Castillo and Rene Barnum; granddaughters, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Amber, Alysa and Angel; brother, Harry and sister Martha (Ian) Suzuki. Visitation at 5pm on Friday, August 17 at the Tenrikyo Honolulu-Ko Church, 349 N Judd St in Nuuanu. Services will be held at 6pm. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
