Mrs. Ellen Y. Migita, 89, of Honolulu, passed away on July 5, 2018 at the Palolo Chinese Care Home. She was born in Honolulu. Ellen was a member of the Palolo Kwannon Temple and an avid member and participant with the Hawaii Gate-ball Association. She was also retired from the DOE, Jefferson Elementary School. She is predeceased by her husband Satoshi and brothers Walter and Herbert Minakami. Ellen is survived by sons, Ronald Migita and James (Jan) Migita; five grandchildren: Michelle (Daniel Suzuki), Melissa-Ann, Matthew (Kristin), Kevin and Keith; five great- grandchildren: Dayton, Dakota, Dani, Mattilin-Joy and Ellenor-Rose; brothers, George, Theodore and Harry Minakami and sister, Alice Minakami. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. with Service to follow on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Downtown Mililani Mortuary, 20 S. Kukui Street. Casual attire. Burial: 2:00 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park, Waipio
