Beloved husband, (widower), of Lorraine Leinaala Luis; father of Charles "Chuckie" Nelson (deceased), Juanita Ann Nelson, Ricky Gene Nelson, Lionel W. Luis, Sonny "Boy" Lino, Larry L. Luis III and Shane Mitchell Lino. Loved by 20 awesome grandchildren, and 24 beautiful great grandchildren that will surely miss their papa." Larry was born on January 7, 1947 in Honolulu, Hawaii. After decades of humbly taking care of the family, it was time for him to reunite with the love of his life, his beloved wife "Lorraine". He passed away on July 13th 2018, surrounded by his loving family. My father was always willing to help anybody... ~ He will be greatly missed ~ A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea Chapel. Burial: 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. The family would like to invite everyone to join them at Palama Setlement Hall after services for food and entertainment from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. "Mahalo wale Dad"
