78, of Waimanalo passed into the arms of God on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Island Hospice where she was surrounded by family. Sydney was born September 29, 1939 to William and Sarah Lung. After graduating from Castle High School, she began a long career in the banking industry. Sydney took great pride in her work and was highly respected and dearly loved by her staff and colleagues. After more than 30 years of work, she retired from Hawaiian Trust. Sydney is survived by daughters, Dale Mada and Lynn (Oren) Salomon, her precious grandchildren, Adrian Jr., Andrea, Reynante Jr., Jared, Chelsey (Peter) and great-granddaughter, Mila Reiko. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sister, Howard (Doreen), Donald (Marie), Jeanne, Allan and Michael. She will also be forever remembered and adored by her nieces and nephews and extended family and dear friends. Funeral services will be held privately.
