88, of Pearl City, passed away on August 21, 2018. Born on Lanai and raised in Kumamoto, Japan, he began as a sales representative and retired as president of Aloha Shoyu Company. He is survived by his wife, Midori; daughters, Sidney (David) Okada and Nancy (Miles) Tanabe; grand- children, Michael and Kristen Okada, Debbie (Jerad) Nakamoto and Dawn (Ryan) Marugame.
