Maria A. Salviejo died at Queen's Medical Center West on July 30, 2018. She was born in Mindoro, Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on May 27, 1927. In the Philippines she was a school teacher for 20 years, came to Hawaii and worked at Liberty House where she retired after 25 years. She was preceded in death by her son, Sanford Salviejo. She is survived by daughter Sandra (Robert) Holmes; Grandson Lukas Holmes; Granddaughter Jana (Isaac) Pannell; siblings Flora Lorica and Domingo Altares. Visitation and Services: 5:30 p.m. 9:00 p.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Mililani Mortuary, Mauka Chapel, Ka' Uka Blvd., Waipio. Visitation: 9:00 a.m.; Mass 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Church, 2324 Omilo Lane. Burial: 12:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temple Cemetery, Chapel Hill, No. 8, Lot 716, 47-200 Kahekili Hwy., Kaneohe. Lunch will be served after the burial at Pah Ke's Restaurant; 46-018 Kamehameha Hwy. Kaneohe, HI.
