95, died in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 9, 2018. An avid golfer and art hobbyist, Fred was born in Kahaluu and served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team - 232nd Combat Engineer Company. He is survived by daughter Alice (Darryl) Nagano and son Peter (Sonia) Arashiro. Preceded in death by his wife, Masako Arashiro, and his siblings Ralph, Edith, Nobu, and Roy. Fred donated his body to the John A. Burns School of Medicine Willed Body Program, University of Hawaii at Manoa. No services.
