Fumie “Frances” Shishido Tokairin
96, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2018, in Wahiawa General Hospital Long Term Care surrounded by family. She was born in Keahua, Maui on September 15, 1921. For over 40 years in 3 different locations, she owned and operated Frances Barbershop in Wahiawa. She will always be fondly remembered by her family and former customers, to whom she was "the barbershop lady." Predeceased by husband of 64 years, Hideo Tokairin and all 11 of her siblings. Survived by son, Alan (Stacey), daughters Fran Tokairin, Kay (Bary) Ewaliko and Susan Tokairin, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, one step great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Wednesday, September 26 beginning at 9:00 a.m., services at 10:00 a.m. at Hosoi Garden Mortuary in Honolulu.
